„LASTOVO ISLANDS“ Nature Park
Nature Park “Lastovo Islands” is one of the youngest parks of nature (11th) in Croatia, founded on 29 September 2006.
It belongs to the South Dalmatian group of islands.
The Nature Park includes 44 islands, islets, rocks and reefs. With lighthouses Sušac, Tajan, Glavat and Struga at its borders. It makes a total land area of 53 km2.

The visitors are kindly asked to observe the following activities which are forbidden in boarders of
- Recreational fishing without permit (permit issued by the Nature park) - Recreatinal fishing with spear gun during the night, scuba diving with spear gun - Picking and destroying plant species - Damaging and stealing cave minerals and other structures - Camping outside of marked areas - Lighting fire - Disposing garbage –land and sea (plastic bottle takes 450 years to demolish) - Throwing cigarette ends - Damaging, contamination, picking or stealing any object at archeological findings (land and sea), as well as cultural, archeological and fossil remains and cultural monuments - Troubling animals - Filming and photographing for commercial purposes without permit of
